About the role
Podcast Pros is seeking a remote Administrative Coordinator to ensure financial integrity and support strategic growth. You will act as the primary bookkeeper, handling all core accounting functions for a fast‑growing startup.
Key responsibilities
- Maintain comprehensive financial records in Xero, including data entry, categorisation, and chart of accounts management.
- Perform daily, weekly and monthly bank reconciliations, and manage accounts payable and receivable.
- Handle Stripe payment processing, billing, subscription management, and reconcile all digital transactions.
- Prepare monthly P&L statements, balance sheets and other financial reports for management.
- Conduct US tax preparation, quarterly estimated payments, and ensure compliance with federal and state regulations.
- Analyse financial trends and provide actionable insights to support business decisions.
Required profile
- Detail‑oriented and experienced bookkeeper comfortable working as an independent contractor.
- Strong understanding of US accounting principles and tax requirements.
- Ability to manage multiple financial processes efficiently in a remote startup environment.
