Business Development Executive

About the role

Ascentex Exim LLP is expanding its presence in Peru and seeks a proactive Business Development Executive to identify new companies, build relationships with decision‑makers, and create long‑term business opportunities in the local market.

Key responsibilities

• Identify and approach potential B2B customers and companies in Peru.
• Build and maintain a strong pipeline of prospects and business opportunities.
• Connect with decision‑makers, present the company’s products and capabilities, and understand customer requirements.
• Conduct follow‑ups, handle enquiries, quotations, and commercial negotiations.
• Convert qualified prospects into active business relationships.
• Research new sectors, companies, and growth opportunities; monitor competitor activity and market trends.
• Collaborate with the international team to develop opportunities and support customer needs.
• Maintain regular updates on leads, interactions, and development activities.

Required profile

• 2–3 years of experience in Business Development, B2B Sales, Key Account Management, or Client Acquisition.
• Proven ability to approach companies and develop new customers.
• Strong communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
• Comfortable making cold calls, sending outreach messages, and initiating business conversations.
• Commercially minded with a proactive approach to identifying opportunities.
• Good understanding of the Peruvian business market and local companies.
• Ability to work independently and manage a business development pipeline.
• English communication skills preferred; existing B2B connections in Peru are an advantage.
