Construction Supervisor

About the role

The Construction Supervisor coordinates all phases of building projects, ensuring that work complies with approved plans, specifications, and budgetary constraints. The role involves close interaction with contractors, consultants, and internal stakeholders to keep projects on schedule and within scope.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor, inspect, and review contractor performance to guarantee that all construction work and materials meet established plans and specifications (approximately 60% of time).
• Prepare cost estimates, track construction progress, and monitor project budgets and expenditures to control costs (about 25%).
• Draft, review, and administer construction‑related contracts, ensuring legal compliance and protection of organizational interests, in coordination with legal counsel (roughly 15%).

Required profile

• At least three years of experience in construction project management.
• Bachelor’s degree in architecture, engineering, or a related field is desirable but not mandatory.
• Familiarity with relevant regulations and, preferably, knowledge of Church policies and procedures.
• Ability to train and supervise subordinates.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal.
