Financial Controller

About the role

The Financial Controller will join Havas' Global Center of Excellence in Lima, supporting the finance team with accurate accounting and financial reporting. This position ensures the integrity of financial data, enabling strategic decisions for both local and global stakeholders.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare financial reports, account reconciliations, and variance analyses.
• Support budget monitoring and financial control activities.
• Review and validate accounting transactions for compliance with policies and local regulations.
• Assist in internal and external audit procedures.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to provide financial insights and support business decisions.
• Provide ongoing support across finance‑related activities as required.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics or a related field.
• 1–3 years of experience in finance, accounting, controlling or a similar role.
• Analytical, detail‑oriented and proactive mindset.
• Strong communication skills in English (B2+/C1 level).
• Experience in advertising agencies, media companies or service‑based organizations is a plus.
• Familiarity with ERP systems is advantageous.
