Financial Controller – Lima, Peru

About the role

We are looking for a senior Financial Controller to join Paysafe’s Lima office on a hybrid basis. The role sits within the divisional controlling team and will be responsible for the financial stewardship of the IS/BS area, ensuring accurate reporting and compliance with local and international standards.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the monthly close process, prepare and analyse financial statements for the assigned division.
• Produce internal and external reports on a monthly, quarterly and annual basis.
• Provide financial and accounting advice on new initiatives, process changes and accounting standards.
• Maintain SOX controls, coordinate audit requests and support internal and external auditors.
• Participate in finance projects aimed at system improvements, reporting optimisation and product support.
• Identify and implement process and system efficiencies, reviewing current tools and recommending enhancements.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration or a related field.
• Professional accounting qualification (CPA, Chartered Accountant or local equivalent) preferred.
• 8+ years of progressive experience in accounting, financial control, reporting or audit, preferably in a multinational environment.
• Deep knowledge of Peruvian statutory accounting, tax regulations and reporting obligations.
• Experience with regulated payment institutions in Peru is an advantage.
• Strong understanding of IFRS, internal controls and corporate reporting standards.
• Proven leadership and people‑management abilities.
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills across local, regional and global teams.
