Senior Data Engineer – Snowflake

About the role

We are looking for a Senior Data Engineer with deep expertise in Snowflake to design, build, and maintain scalable data pipelines for our AI‑driven customer experience platform. The role will work closely with backend and platform teams to integrate data solutions into cloud‑native applications and support analytics and operational workloads.

Key responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain scalable data pipelines and architectures.
• Develop and optimize ETL/ELT processes from diverse sources.
• Integrate pipelines with cloud‑native applications alongside backend engineers.
• Manage and optimize cloud data warehouses, primarily BigQuery, ensuring performance and cost efficiency.
• Implement data governance, security, and privacy best practices.
• Collaborate with analytics teams to define data models and enable self‑service reporting.
• Produce and maintain data documentation, including dictionaries, lineage, and metadata.
• Monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize pipelines for high availability and reliability.
• Stay current with emerging data engineering technologies and continuously improve infrastructure.

Required profile

• Certified SnowPro certification.
• 5+ years of data engineering experience building modern cloud‑based platforms.
• Experience collaborating with distributed teams across North and Latin America.
• Strong problem‑solving mindset and delivery orientation.
• Excellent English communication and collaboration skills.
