Senior Python Software Engineer

About the role

We are seeking a Senior Python Software Engineer to design, develop, and maintain AI‑powered backend services that power our client’s platform. You will work on both new AI capabilities and existing production systems, ensuring reliability, scalability, and performance in a cloud‑native environment.

Key responsibilities

• Develop backend services primarily using Python.
• Maintain and enhance existing C#/.NET components.
• Build REST APIs and AWS‑based services.
• Implement AI‑powered features and integrate them into production applications.
• Participate in code reviews, technical design sessions, and documentation.
• Troubleshoot and resolve production issues.
• Collaborate with Product, QA, and Architecture teams.
• Improve system performance, maintainability, and engineering best practices.

Required profile

• Minimum 3 years of commercial software development experience.
• Strong Python development background with exposure to C#/.NET.
• Proficiency in AWS cloud services, REST API development, and Git.
• Solid SQL knowledge and experience building production backend applications.
• Understanding of object‑oriented design, clean code, and software design patterns.
• Experience working in Agile environments and familiarity with CI/CD pipelines.
• English proficiency at B2 level or higher.
