Senior Red Team Security Consultant

About the role

Mandiant is seeking a Senior Red Team Security Consultant to join its Red Team Consulting practice. The role involves assessing and advising clients on technical and process‑based security controls across diverse environments, performing both red and purple team engagements, and contributing to the team’s offensive security capabilities.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct red and purple team assessments, including assumed breach and ransomware readiness reviews.
• Perform external and internal wireless, web application, mobile, and embedded system security testing.
• Execute threat analysis and social engineering assessments.
• Develop and enhance offensive security tools, research new attack techniques, and share knowledge internally.
• Collaborate with internal partners and customer teams, communicating findings in clear, concise documentation.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Cybersecurity, or equivalent practical experience.
• Minimum 5 years of hands‑on penetration testing and red‑team experience covering network, web, mobile, cloud, and social engineering.
• Fluent English communication skills and ability to travel up to 30% of the time.
• Mexican citizenship as required by local labor law.
