Senior Software Architect

About the role

Coforge is seeking a Senior Software Architect to lead the design and delivery of secure, scalable, cloud‑native SaaS solutions. You will work remotely across Latin America, shaping architecture using .NET, Angular, and AWS while championing AI‑first development practices.

Key responsibilities

• Design and own the end‑to‑end architecture of SaaS applications, ensuring security, scalability, and performance.
• Define and implement micro‑service ecosystems using Domain‑Driven Design, CQRS, and event‑driven patterns.
• Lead architecture reviews, set technical standards, and mentor engineering teams.
• Drive AI‑assisted development by integrating tools such as GitHub Copilot, Claude Code, or Cursor.
• Collaborate with product owners and stakeholders to translate business needs into technical solutions.

Required profile

• 12+ years of software engineering experience, including 5+ years in a senior architectural or principal engineering role.
• Strong leadership, communication, and stakeholder‑management abilities.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, IT, or equivalent experience.

Required skills

• .NET Core, C#, Entity Framework
• Angular 16+
• AWS (preferred) or Azure cloud platforms
• SQL Server, PostgreSQL, Amazon DocumentDB (NoSQL)
• Microservices, Domain‑Driven Design (DDD), CQRS, Event‑Driven Architecture
• AI‑powered development tools (GitHub Copilot, Claude Code, Cursor) and familiarity with LLMs, RAG, MCP, agentic development
• DevOps, CI/CD, Infrastructure as Code, cloud automation
• Observability, monitoring, and distributed systems
