Associate Technology Support Representative

About the role

We are looking for an Associate Technology Support Representative to join the MillerKnoll (formerly HermanMiller) IT team. This entry‑level position provides first‑line technical assistance to internal users, handling routine hardware, software and network queries while building the skills needed for a full‑time Technology Support Representative role.

Key responsibilities

• Respond to IT‑related inquiries via phone, email or chat and log each request in the ticketing system.
• Troubleshoot and resolve common hardware, software and network issues following established procedures.
• Perform basic user tasks such as password resets, account unlocks and software installations.
• Escalate complex problems to Primary, Senior Support Representatives or higher‑level teams.
• Maintain professional, customer‑focused communication and follow up to confirm issue resolution.
• Document solutions in the knowledge base and contribute to its continuous improvement.
• Participate in training sessions to expand technical knowledge and service skills.

Required profile

• Familiarity with Microsoft Office applications and Windows operating systems.
• Basic understanding of IT concepts and troubleshooting techniques.
• Strong communication and interpersonal abilities with a focus on customer service.
• Organizational skills to manage multiple tickets and prioritize tasks.
• Ability to follow instructions, learn quickly and work in a fast‑paced environment.
