Python Backend Engineer (AI Applications)

About the role

Citric Sheep is looking for a Python Backend Engineer to design and maintain production‑grade AI applications and backend services for international clients. The role is fully remote and focuses on delivering practical AI solutions that create real business value.

Key responsibilities

• Develop backend services and RESTful APIs using Python.
• Integrate AI and large‑language‑model (LLM) APIs into client solutions.
• Build and optimise data processing pipelines and automation workflows.
• Write clean, maintainable, production‑quality code and participate in code reviews.
• Collaborate with senior engineers, technical leads, and clients to deliver robust software.

Required profile

• 2+ years of professional Python development experience.
• Strong problem‑solving abilities and independent remote work skills.
• Professional‑level English communication.
• Conversational Spanish is a plus.
