About the role
Kajae, a premium staff‑augmentation firm, is looking for an experienced Outbound Business Development Representative to drive pipeline growth through strategic prospecting and relationship building. The role is fully remote and focuses on generating qualified opportunities for the sales team.
Key responsibilities
- Execute outbound prospecting campaigns via cold calls, emails, LinkedIn outreach, and other sales engagement channels.
- Identify, engage, and qualify prospective clients, assessing business needs, budget, decision‑making authority, and timelines.
- Maintain a healthy sales pipeline by consistently creating new business opportunities.
- Build and nurture relationships with prospects throughout the sales process.
- Manage lead data, respond to inbound inquiries, and proactively engage outbound prospects.
- Handle objections professionally while keeping momentum in the sales cycle.
- Schedule introductory meetings between qualified prospects and assigned Sales Representatives.
- Ensure a smooth handoff of qualified opportunities to the sales team.
- Keep lead records accurate and up‑to‑date in the CRM and sales engagement platforms.
- Collaborate closely with Sales and Marketing teams to support pipeline growth.
Required profile
- Proven experience in outbound business development or sales development.
- Strong execution skills combined with a strategic, relationship‑driven mindset.
- High level of preparation, initiative, and genuine interest in the company’s mission.
- Ability to work independently in a remote environment.
Required skills
- Experience with CRM and sales engagement platforms.
- Proficiency in cold calling, email outreach, and LinkedIn prospecting.
