Program and Administrative Officer – Peru

About the role

The Program and Administrative Officer for Peru will support the implementation of projects that improve governance of the oil, gas and mining sectors. Working closely with the Andean Manager, the officer will coordinate activities, manage partners and consultants, and ensure smooth operational processes across the country.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate implementation, execution and follow‑up of projects related to resource governance, revenue management and just transition initiatives.
• Support project planning, research, policy analysis, reporting and stakeholder coordination.
• Organise meetings, workshops, outreach activities and events, handling logistics, travel, presentations and participant coordination.
• Draft Terms of Reference, support hiring of consultants and sub‑grantees, review deliverables and process payments.
• Monitor policy, economic and governance developments in Peru and provide regular updates to regional and global teams.

Required profile

• Highly organised, proactive and collaborative with strong attention to detail.
• Interest in governance, public policy, natural resources and international development.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a regional team.
• Excellent communication skills in English (Spanish preferred).
