Entry-Level Associate Technology Support Representative

About the role

The Associate Technology Support Representative provides first‑line technical assistance to end‑users across the MillerKnoll organization. This entry‑level position focuses on handling basic hardware, software and network inquiries while building the skills needed for a full Technology Support Representative role.

Key responsibilities

• Respond to IT‑related tickets via phone, email or chat and log them accurately.
• Troubleshoot common hardware, software and network issues following established procedures.
• Perform routine tasks such as password resets, account unlocks and software installations.
• Escalate complex problems to senior support staff or higher‑level teams.
• Maintain a professional, customer‑focused demeanor in all interactions.
• Follow up with users to confirm issue resolution and satisfaction.
• Document solutions to build and update the knowledge base.
• Participate in training sessions to improve technical knowledge.

Required profile

• Familiarity with Microsoft Office products and Windows operating systems.
• Basic understanding of IT concepts and troubleshooting techniques.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills with a focus on customer service.
• Good organizational and time‑management abilities to handle multiple requests.
• Ability to follow instructions, learn quickly and work in a fast‑paced environment.
• Experience with ticketing systems is a plus.
