Legal Intake Specialist (Remote, US Law Firm)

About the role

The Legal Intake Specialist will be the first point of contact for clients of a U.S.-based personal injury law firm. Working remotely from Latin America, you will handle high‑volume communications, ensure accurate case onboarding, and support the intake manager and attorneys.

Key responsibilities

• Answer inbound and make outbound calls with professionalism and empathy.
• Provide case status updates, schedule appointments, and answer client questions.
• Conduct preliminary case screenings to determine eligibility.
• Document client information accurately in the firm’s case management system.
• Follow intake scripts, checklists, and workflows to ensure smooth onboarding.
• Manage follow‑ups to increase intake conversions.
• Coordinate communication between clients, attorneys, and case managers.
• Escalate urgent or sensitive matters to the appropriate team members.

Required profile

• Minimum 1 year of experience in intake, customer service, call‑center or administrative roles within a U.S. law firm.
• Strong written and verbal English communication skills.
• Ability to multitask in a fast‑paced, high‑volume environment.
• High level of empathy, patience and professionalism when speaking with distressed clients.
• Detail‑oriented with accurate data‑entry capabilities.
• Self‑motivated, able to work independently and follow structured workflows.
