Abogado de Cumplimiento Regulatorio (Sector Financiero)

About the role

This position supports TMF Group in ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements in the financial services sector. The successful candidate will monitor obligations, manage documentation, and help implement compliance action plans.

Key responsibilities

• Support monitoring and assessment of compliance with applicable laws, regulations, and regulatory requirements.
• Assist in the development and maintenance of compliance matrices, regulatory inventories, and monitoring mechanisms.
• Support the review, organization, maintenance, and control of documentation related to regulatory obligations and internal policies.
• Assist in gathering, validating, and analyzing information required for regulatory inspections, audits, and internal reviews.
• Participate in monitoring regulatory developments and support implementation of action plans related to new regulations.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Law (LL.B. or equivalent); admission to practice law preferred.
• 2‑3 years of experience in legal, regulatory compliance or advisory roles within regulated financial institutions such as banks, leasing companies or trust firms.
• Solid knowledge of financial services regulations, banking supervision frameworks and AML/CTF requirements.
• Intermediate to advanced English, written and verbal.
