Bilingual Patient Follow-Up Specialist

About the role

We are looking for a bilingual, organized, and personable professional to join our growing personal injury medical practice remotely. The primary focus will be to clear a backlog of patient follow-up calls, document recovery progress, and support attorney requests with high accuracy.

Key responsibilities

• Contact patients 4‑6 weeks post‑visit to assess recovery, using calls, texts or approved channels.
• Complete structured symptom questionnaires and record responses in the practice’s symptom-tracking database.
• Respond to attorney and law‑firm requests for medical evaluations, records and billing documentation, ensuring completeness and precision.
• Upload completed documents to designated portals and track outstanding requests to prevent gaps.
• Provide end‑of‑day reports summarizing outreach, pending follow‑ups and completed tasks.
• Cross‑train on scheduling and intake workflows and provide backup coverage when needed.

Required profile

• Prior experience as a medical assistant or in a similar patient‑facing healthcare role.
• Excellent bilingual communication skills (English and another language).
• Strong attention to detail and ability to handle sensitive medical and legal information.
• Persistent yet courteous outreach style and reliable follow‑through.

Required skills

• Proficiency with electronic medical record (EMR) or symptom‑tracking databases.
• Experience using secure document portals and basic office software.
