Concierge & Events Specialist (Shipboard)

About the role

The Concierge & Events Specialist is responsible for delivering an exceptional, personalized experience to VIP, loyalty, group and concierge‑class guests aboard the ship. Working within the Guest Relations team, you will act as the primary liaison between guests and multiple internal departments to ensure seamless execution of premium services.

Key responsibilities

• Serve as the main point of contact for VIP, loyalty, group and concierge‑class guests, handling inquiries, special requests and escalations with professionalism and empathy.
• Coordinate and oversee all group, loyalty and concierge events, ensuring flawless organization, stakeholder alignment and on‑time delivery.
• Maintain the appearance, cleanliness and inventory of the Concierge lounge, loyalty spaces and conference rooms to uphold a luxury environment.
• Manage guest requests such as transportation, restaurant reservations, spa treatments, shore excursions, wine selections, tailoring, babysitting and other personalized services.
• Respond promptly to escalated guest concerns, providing considerate and solution‑focused resolutions.
• Uphold brand standards by staying informed on ship amenities, revenue products, voyage details and guest preferences.

Required profile

• 2‑3 years of front‑desk or receptionist experience in a 4‑ or 5‑star hotel.
• Proven ability to handle events with 80+ guests.
• Clear, courteous spoken English.
• Shipboard guest‑service experience is an advantage.
