District Sales Manager – Cybersecurity

About the role

Palo Alto Networks is seeking a District Sales Manager to lead a team of field sellers in driving revenue growth for its cybersecurity portfolio. This remote position offers the chance to shape strategy, coach talent, and influence customers’ transition to zero‑trust security architectures.

Key responsibilities

• Research customer needs and develop insight‑driven sales strategies.
• Participate in and lead prospect meetings to support the team.
• Analyze weekly territory pipeline, forecast activity, and coach direct reports on closing tactics.
• Plan territory development, nurture relationships, and identify revenue opportunities.
• Foster a high‑performance sales culture focused on bookings, forecast accuracy, and team development.
• Leverage deep technical knowledge of Palo Alto Networks solutions to address customer problems.
• Drive and oversee team‑selling initiatives and hold the team accountable for ambitious goals.

Required profile

• Proven first‑line sales leader with strong energy, initiative, and leadership abilities.
• Track record of achieving individual, team, and organizational quotas.
• Excellent communication skills, able to engage leaders at all levels, including C‑suite.
• Resilient mindset with a forward‑thinking approach to setbacks.

Required skills

• In‑depth knowledge of Palo Alto Networks cybersecurity portfolio.
