Facility Security Coordinator

About the role

The Facility Security Coordinator will safeguard people, products, and assets at Mondelēz’s Lima plant, commercial office, and distribution centre. Reporting to the Security Manager, the role implements global security standards, oversees the Food Defense program, and ensures effective incident response.

Key responsibilities

• Develop, implement and lead operational security programs across the assigned region.
• Maintain and monitor security equipment such as CCTV, alarm systems, and perimeter fencing.
• Conduct risk and vulnerability assessments and prepare technical reports.
• Manage private surveillance services and coordinate contingency plans for civil unrest, bomb threats, theft, or kidnapping.
• Oversee the Food Defense program (PAS 96) and ensure compliance with legal and regulatory requirements.
• Coordinate hiring, contracts, and purchase orders for security and legal services.
• Report and monitor theft, abuse of trust, and legal complaints at the national level.

Required profile

• Retired officer from armed forces or state security agency, or a university degree in industrial security.
• Strong analytical capability and ability to work under pressure.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Proven leadership and people‑management experience.
• Fluency in English (reading, writing, speaking).
