Field Service Engineer – Mining Equipment

About the role

Join a global leader in mining solutions as a Field Service Engineer, working directly on‑site at major mining operations. You will apply your technical expertise to ensure equipment reliability, drive upgrades, and support customers throughout the equipment lifecycle.

Key responsibilities

• Act as the primary point of contact for customers, strengthening long‑term relationships across Service, Sales, and Global Specialist teams.
• Activate and coordinate Field Services Engineering, Professional Services, Sales, and Global Specialists to deliver optimal technical and lifecycle solutions.
• Manage maintenance strategies and spare‑parts requirements for installed equipment, ensuring reliability and performance.
• Identify opportunities for equipment replacement, upgrades, and the use of parts and consumables to increase share of wallet.
• Provide market and customer insights to support retention, growth, and lifecycle value plans.
• Work closely with Solution Specialists to drive on‑site consumables and service offerings.
• Develop, coach, and support new Site Account Managers and Representatives to strengthen customer coverage.
• Communicate with Global Service, Business Lines, and Regional Sales on price competitiveness, supply localization, and globalization strategies.
• Collaborate with Professional Services to deliver on‑site support and identify upgrades & retrofits that enhance operational performance.

Required profile

• Minimum 6 + years of experience in the mining industry in a similar role.
• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Mechatronics, Electronics, Industrial Engineering or a related engineering discipline.
• Strong collaborative ability across multiple teams and proven KPI management experience.
• Experience preparing commercial and technical proposals for mining projects.
• Demonstrated passion for the mining sector and a proactive, innovative mindset.
