Financial Controller – Peru

About the role

Paysafe is seeking a senior Financial Controller to join its divisional controlling team in Lima, Peru. The role is hybrid and focuses on overseeing the financial close, reporting and analysis for a dedicated IS/BS area within the payments business.

Key responsibilities

• Manage end‑to‑end monthly closing, reporting and variance analysis for the assigned division.
• Provide expert accounting advice on new initiatives, process changes and evolving accounting standards.
• Support internal and external reporting on a monthly, quarterly and annual basis.
• Maintain SOX controls, ensure compliance with Peruvian statutory accounting and tax regulations.
• Coordinate audit activities with external and internal auditors.
• Lead finance projects aimed at system improvements, reporting optimisation and process efficiencies.
• Review current systems and recommend enhancements to maximise performance.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration or a related field.
• Professional accounting qualification (CPA, Chartered Accountant or local equivalent) preferred.
• 8+ years of progressive experience in accounting, financial control, reporting or audit, preferably in a multinational environment.
• Strong knowledge of Peruvian statutory accounting, tax requirements and regulatory compliance.
• Solid understanding of IFRS, internal controls and corporate reporting standards.
• Proven leadership and people‑management abilities.
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills across local, regional and global teams.
