Jr. Accounting Compliance Specialist

About the role

Atlas Technica is seeking a Junior Accounting Compliance Specialist to support its Accounting Compliance team. The role focuses on day‑to‑day accounting tasks, regulatory filings, and audit coordination, ensuring that financial records are accurate, organized, and audit‑ready.

Key responsibilities

• Process and track vendor invoices and assist with Accounts Payable activities.
• Coordinate information and documentation requests from auditors, tax advisors, and external consultants.
• Prepare and submit state, regulatory, and other required compliance filings.
• Maintain compliance calendars, track upcoming requirements, and help meet critical deadlines.
• Keep accounting and compliance records accurate, complete, and audit‑ready.
• Support accounting and compliance projects, process improvements, and other assigned initiatives.

Required profile

• 1–3 years of experience in accounting, finance, compliance, or a related field.
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related discipline.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to accurate record‑keeping.
• Excellent organizational and time‑management abilities.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet established deadlines.
• Effective written and verbal communication skills for collaboration with team members and external stakeholders.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel.
• Familiarity with Microsoft 365 applications.
