Junior Engineer – Operational Preparation

About the role

We are seeking a Junior Engineer to support operational preparation, commissioning and asset management projects for mining, energy and industrial clients. The role works with multidisciplinary teams to ensure a smooth transition from project execution to full operational capacity.

Key responsibilities

• Support planning, coordination and monitoring of operational preparation initiatives.
• Gather and analyse operational requirements derived from projects.
• Coordinate information between engineering, construction, operations, maintenance and support areas.
• Assist in identifying and managing risks, gaps and impacts associated with the project‑to‑operation transition (people, processes, systems).
• Prepare reports, performance indicators, schedules and project documentation.
• Contribute to deliverables related to processes, organisational capabilities and operational readiness.
• Support the development of consulting proposals and related deliverables.

Required profile

• Degree in Industrial, Mechanical, Electrical, Metallurgical, Mining Engineering or a related field.
• Minimum of 3 years of professional experience.
• Experience or exposure to mining, industrial or infrastructure projects.
• Knowledge of project management and tracking.
• Advanced proficiency in English.
• Willingness to work on‑site when project requirements demand.

Required skills

• Advanced use of Microsoft Excel.
• Proficiency with Power BI.
• Experience with AI tools for data analysis or automation.
