Laravel & React Developer (Remote, Latin America)

About the role

Bluelight Consulting is seeking a seasoned Laravel and React developer to join its fast‑growing, fully remote team serving clients across the United States and Latin America. You will work on high‑impact projects, building modern web applications that combine robust Laravel back‑ends with dynamic React front‑ends.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain Laravel 8+ applications, including Eloquent models, authentication, and query builder logic.
• Build and consume RESTful APIs and integrate them with Inertia.js powered front‑ends.
• Implement responsive user interfaces using React (or Vue.js/Livewire) and optionally Tailwind CSS.
• Write automated tests with Pest PHP, PHPUnit, Laravel Dusk, and Playwright to ensure code quality.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams, estimate work, and take ownership of deliverables.

Required profile

• 4+ years of professional experience with Laravel (version 8 or newer).
• Strong background in Eloquent ORM, Laravel authentication, and query builder.
• Hands‑on experience with testing tools such as Pest, PHPUnit, Dusk, or Playwright.
• Proficiency in building RESTful APIs and using Inertia.js.
• Frontend development experience with React (Vue.js or Livewire acceptable) and a positive, can‑do attitude.
