Senior Azure Solutions Architect

About the role

We are looking for a Senior Azure Solutions Architect to serve as the primary technical liaison for our customers. You will operate Azure environments on a day‑to‑day basis, guide cloud migrations, and support presales activities while mentoring junior staff.

Key responsibilities

• Act as the main technical contact for assigned customers, handling service enablement, provisioning, and incident response.
• Design, review, and validate Azure architectures using the Well‑Architected Framework and Cloud Adoption Framework.
• Lead migrations, modernization projects, and cloud‑native adoption initiatives.
• Participate in discovery calls, technical workshops, and create high‑level solution designs, diagrams, and proposals.
• Collaborate with sales to articulate value propositions and contribute to statements of work and effort estimates.
• Mentor junior engineers, contribute to internal standards, runbooks, automation, and support Microsoft Partner initiatives.

Required profile

• 8+ years of IT/infrastructure/cloud experience, with 5+ years of hands‑on Azure production workload design and operation.
• Strong knowledge of Azure Well‑Architected Framework, Cloud Adoption Framework, Enterprise‑Scale Landing Zones, and security‑first, cost‑aware design.
• Proven customer‑facing experience, excellent communication, and ability to manage multiple engagements independently.
• Experience supporting or leading presales activities.

• Azure networking (VNets, VNet Peering, Virtual WAN, VPN Gateway, ExpressRoute, Azure Firewall, Application Gateway, NSGs, Private Endpoints).
• Azure compute and storage (VMs, VM Scale Sets, App Service, Azure Container Apps, AKS, Azure Functions, Managed Disks, Blob Storage, Azure Files, backup, DR).
• Security & identity (Microsoft Entra ID, Azure RBAC, Management Groups, Azure Policy, Defender for Cloud, Key Vault, Conditional Access).
• Observability (Azure Monitor, Log Analytics, Application Insights, alerting, runbooks).
• Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, Bicep, ARM Templates).
• Kubernetes (AKS) operational experience.
