Senior Enterprise Account Executive

About the role

Sovos is seeking a Senior Enterprise Account Executive to drive new revenue by delivering tax compliance SaaS solutions to large organizations. You will own the full sales cycle in the Financial Services and Insurance verticals, building a high‑performance pipeline and closing complex enterprise deals.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute a strategic sales plan for the assigned territory.
• Manage the end‑to‑end sales cycle: prospecting, solution identification, software demos, and closing.
• Sell and promote Sovos’ SaaS‑based products to net‑new accounts in Financial Services and Insurance.
• Achieve profitable new‑business revenue growth and consistently meet or exceed quotas.
• Maintain an accurate, balanced pipeline in Salesforce.com.
• Leverage AI‑powered tools to prioritize opportunities and accelerate deal velocity.
• Navigate complex enterprise sales cycles ($100K+) and engage senior executives.
• Act with integrity and ensure customer satisfaction throughout the sales process.

Required profile

• 3–5 years of corporate selling experience, with proven success selling to large Financial Services organizations.
• Demonstrated ability to close large enterprise opportunities and manage complex sales cycles.
• Experience working with Salesforce and selling SaaS‑based or outsourced services.
• Strong prospecting, targeting, and closing skills with a track record of meeting or exceeding quotas.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and comfort adopting new sales technologies.
