Traditional Sales Leader

About the role

Essity is seeking a Traditional Sales Leader to drive growth and market coverage for its Traditional Trade channel. You will translate business objectives into actionable sales plans, build strong customer partnerships, and lead a high‑performing team.

Key responsibilities

• Define and execute the strategy for the Traditional Trade channel.
• Translate business objectives into sales plans, priorities, and customer‑focused initiatives.
• Drive profitable sales growth, distribution expansion, portfolio execution, and market coverage.
• Lead sales forecasting, demand planning, and business performance reviews.
• Develop strong partnerships with key customers and distributors.
• Lead strategic negotiations with high‑impact customers.
• Identify market trends, customer needs, competitive activity, opportunities, and risks.
• Coach and mentor team members to strengthen commercial capabilities.
• Build a high‑performance culture focused on accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Administration, Engineering, or a related field.
• Significant experience managing the Traditional Trade channel within FMCG or consumer goods.
• Proven experience leading and developing commercial teams.
• Strong commercial acumen in sales strategy, forecasting, negotiations, and execution.
• Experience managing customers, distributors, and regional operations.
• Availability to travel domestically on a regular basis.
• English proficiency is a plus.
