Web & SEO Manager – Drive Organic Growth for Law Firm

About the role

We are looking for a versatile Web & SEO Manager to own the firm’s organic search strategy, website management, and visibility across modern search channels. The role is self‑directed, requiring a proven, battle‑tested approach to increase high‑intent traffic, keyword rankings, and client conversions for a personal‑injury law practice.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and lead a comprehensive organic search and website optimisation strategy to boost inbound leads and conversions.
• Manage the firm’s WordPress site, including CMS administration, hosting migrations, domain handling, and site‑structure updates.
• Conduct technical SEO audits, improve site speed, implement schema markup, and resolve crawlability/indexability issues.
• Perform strategic keyword research focused on high‑converting legal terms, local intent, and search volume.
• Optimise content and architecture for AI‑driven discovery engines (e.g., ChatGPT, Gemini, Perplexity) alongside traditional platforms.
• Oversee local SEO efforts, including Google Business Profile management, citation building, and review acquisition.
• Monitor, analyse, and report KPIs such as rankings, organic traffic, conversions, and technical health using GA4, Search Console, Ahrefs or Semrush.
• Plan and deploy SEO‑driven web content with proper on‑page optimisation.

Required profile

• Minimum 4 years of SEO and web development experience for U.S. companies.
• Proven track record maintaining and updating WordPress websites.
• Strong grasp of technical, on‑page, and local SEO with demonstrable ranking improvements.
• Experience optimising content for AI‑driven search tools and generative engines.
• Excellent written and verbal communication in English.
• Background in marketing for law firms or other competitive, high‑intent local services is a plus.
