Agentic Software Engineer (OpenAI Codex) – Remote – Latin America

About the role

We are looking for an Agentic Software Engineer specialized in OpenAI Codex to join our talent network and work on remote, project‑based assignments for U.S. clients. You will become an integral part of the client’s development team, collaborating daily with designers and engineers to deliver AI‑accelerated solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Integrate OpenAI Codex into full‑stack development workflows across Java, Python, C#, React, and Node stacks.
• Coordinate AI‑generated code implementation for large, multi‑file systems while maintaining architectural oversight.
• Translate complex product requirements into AI‑friendly specifications and documentation.
• Design, iterate, and improve AI‑first development pipelines from specification through deployment.
• Conduct disciplined human‑in‑the‑loop reviews and risk‑adjusted validation for safety‑critical flows.
• Participate in Agile ceremonies, maintain CI/CD pipelines, and contribute to shared libraries as needed.

Required profile

• 5+ years of professional software development experience with full‑stack architectures.
• Advanced English proficiency.
• Completed a four‑year college degree.
• Proven experience using OpenAI Codex as a primary development environment.
• Strong context‑engineering skills and ability to produce reliable AI output.
• Experience working on large, complex systems in Agile/Scrum teams.
