Drive the Future Internship – Legal Entity Controller (Peru)

About the role

Join JPMorgan's Drive the Future internship program in Peru as a Legal Entity Controller intern. You will support the Legal Entity Controller (LEC) team in maintaining local and corporate books, preparing regulatory reports, and contributing to financial statement accuracy while gaining hands‑on experience in a global financial institution.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare internal and regulator‑specific reports (SBS, BCRP, SMV).
• Update and maintain SOPs for LEC processes, including UAT, invoicing, and regulatory reporting.
• Respond to information requests from auditors and regulators.
• Assist with implementation of new initiatives, product roll‑outs, and process automation.
• Enter daily rates and counterparties into the system and track month‑end regulatory submissions.
• Monitor open JIRA tickets and participate in regulatory change analysis.

Required profile

• Student in Accounting, Administration, Economics or a related field (at least 7th semester).
• Fluent in Spanish and English.
• Available for part‑time work (≈30 hours/week) in Lima, Peru.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and/or Access; Visual Basic knowledge is a plus.
• Familiarity with financial products (e.g., derivatives) and automation/data‑management tools is advantageous.
