Manual QA Tester – Manual Testing Specialist

About the role

We are looking for a detail‑oriented Manual QA Tester to validate software applications before release. The successful candidate will execute test cases, document defects and collaborate with cross‑functional teams to ensure high‑quality releases.

Key responsibilities

• Execute manual test cases and scenarios to verify software functionality.
• Review requirements, user stories, and specifications to identify testing needs.
• Create and maintain test cases, scripts, checklists, and documentation.
• Perform functional, regression, integration, usability, and exploratory testing.
• Identify, reproduce, document, and track software bugs with clear reproduction steps.
• Retest resolved defects and confirm fixes.
• Conduct regression testing after new features, updates, or bug fixes.
• Test web applications across browsers, devices, and environments as required.
• Validate application behavior against business and technical requirements.
• Collaborate with developers, product managers, designers, and other teams to investigate and resolve defects.
• Maintain accurate records of test results, defects, and testing progress.
• Participate in release testing, quality validation, and user acceptance testing when needed.
• Communicate testing progress, risks, and quality concerns to stakeholders.
• Identify opportunities to improve testing processes and documentation.

Required profile

• Strong understanding of manual software testing and QA principles.
• Excellent attention to detail and analytical thinking.
• Problem‑solving and troubleshooting abilities.
• Ability to work independently and collaborate effectively with remote teams.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Organizational and time‑management skills to handle multiple testing activities.
