Operations Manager – Custom Millshop

About the role

We are seeking an Operations Manager to lead our custom millshop in Nassau, overseeing the full production cycle from design to installation. The role combines hands‑on shop floor management with client‑facing coordination to ensure high‑end millwork projects are delivered on time, on budget, and to exacting quality standards.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee daily millshop operations and manage production workflow.
• Coordinate projects from approved shop drawings through fabrication and installation.
• Develop and maintain production schedules, prioritize tasks, and meet project deadlines.
• Collaborate with clients, architects, designers, contractors, and installation teams.
• Attend project and site meetings as required.
• Order and track materials, hardware, and supplies to ensure timely availability.
• Monitor quality control throughout production and installation phases.
• Identify and resolve production, scheduling, or operational challenges proactively.
• Improve shop efficiency, workflow, and operational processes.
• Lead, support, and motivate shop and operations personnel.

Required profile

• Fluent in English and Spanish (written and spoken).
• Degree in Architecture, Industrial Design, Construction Management or a related field (preferred).
• Experience in millwork, cabinetry, woodworking or related construction operations.
• Proven ability to manage multiple projects, production schedules and deadlines.
• Strong leadership, problem‑solving and decision‑making abilities.
• Experience working directly with clients, architects, designers and contractors.
• Ability to read and interpret shop drawings and architectural plans.
