Accounting Analyst

About the role

Remote’s Finance team is expanding its global footprint and is looking for an Accounting Analyst to support the EMEA region. You will work within a fast‑growing environment, handling a variety of accounting tasks while ensuring compliance with local regulations and GAAP principles.

Key responsibilities

• Post transactions in SAP and maintain accurate records.
• Close and reconcile sub‑ledgers such as AP, AR, Fixed Assets, Bank, and Intercompany.
• Record and reconcile payroll for multiple countries.
• Support month‑end and year‑end close processes.
• Perform monthly balance‑sheet reconciliations and assist with variance analysis.
• Ensure statutory filings (VAT, CIT, financial statements) are completed on time.
• Conduct ad‑hoc analysis and contribute to finance projects.
• Assist in the preparation of statutory financial statements.

Required profile

• Post‑qualification accounting experience.
• Ability to work in the EMEA timezone.
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field.
• Experience with core finance systems (SAP or similar is a plus).
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Excellent written and verbal English communication.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
• Ability to manage multiple projects in a high‑growth environment.
