AI Marketing Manager

About the role

Monte Carlo is looking for an AI Marketing Manager to build and own AI‑powered agents that automate high‑volume marketing workflows. The role sits within the Marketing team but operates like an engineering position, delivering production‑grade systems rather than presentations.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, and ship AI agents that replace manual processes such as lead routing, contract handling, follow‑up sequences, and campaign execution.
• Rebuild marketing operations infrastructure with predictive lead scoring, lifecycle management, and agent‑forward workflows.
• Integrate the marketing stack—including Salesforce, HubSpot, Qualified, Clay, ZoomInfo, and the data warehouse—to ensure timely data flow.
• Build personalization and testing tools that scale campaign performance.
• Own the deployed systems: monitor performance, implement fallback logic, add observability, and iterate based on results.
• Collaborate with marketing leadership, RevOps, and sales to identify high‑leverage problems and translate them into software solutions.

Required profile

• Hands‑on experience building production systems on top of LLM APIs (e.g., Claude, OpenAI).
• Deep familiarity with B2B marketing tools such as Salesforce, HubSpot, Qualified, Clay, and ZoomInfo.
• Technical fluency to wire together LLM APIs, marketing platforms, and data pipelines without extensive engineering support.
• Systems‑thinking mindset: ability to add monitoring, fallback mechanisms, and iterative improvement loops.
• Strong stakeholder judgment to turn messy requirements into clean, scoped builds.
