Assistant/Associate Professor – Reproductive Biotechnology

About the role

The Universidad Nacional Agraria La Molina seeks a motivated Assistant or Associate Professor to join its Department of Animal Production. The position is full‑time, on‑site in Lima, and focuses on teaching, research, and curriculum development in reproductive biotechnology.

Key responsibilities

• Teach undergraduate and graduate courses in animal science and reproductive biotechnology.
• Develop, update, and improve course materials and curricula.
• Mentor students in academic projects and research activities.
• Conduct high‑quality research, publish in peer‑reviewed journals, and present findings.
• Seek external research funding and manage grant projects.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to advance sustainable livestock development.

Required profile

• Master’s degree (required); PhD preferred in Animal Science, Reproductive Biotechnology, Veterinary Sciences, or related field.
• Minimum of 2 years university‑level teaching experience.
• Demonstrated expertise in reproductive biotechnology and related animal science areas.
• Proven record of research publications.
• Bilingual proficiency in Spanish and English.
• Experience in obtaining or managing research grants is desirable.
• Commitment to academic excellence and sustainable agricultural development.
