AWS DevOps Engineer (Linux) – Remote (Latin America)

About the role

We are looking for an experienced AWS DevOps Engineer (Linux) to join our talent network and work remotely with U.S. clients on project‑based assignments. You will become an integral part of the client’s engineering team, collaborating daily with designers and developers to deliver reliable, automated infrastructure.

Key responsibilities

• Administer and harden Linux‑based production environments, including patching, backups and Active Directory integration.
• Configure, maintain and troubleshoot relational databases such as PostgreSQL, MySQL or Microsoft SQL Server.
• Develop and maintain automation scripts using Python, Bash or similar languages.
• Build, deploy and support Java applications with Maven, Gradle and Spring frameworks, as well as Node.js services.
• Implement Infrastructure‑as‑Code using Terraform, Ansible, CloudFormation, Puppet or Chef.
• Automate provisioning across on‑premises and cloud environments and manage containerized deployments with Docker.
• Maintain CI/CD pipelines (GitLab) and artifact repositories (Artifactory).
• Monitor systems using tools such as Splunk or Dynatrace and ensure security best practices.

Required profile

• 5+ years of professional DevOps engineering experience.
• Advanced English communication skills.
• Completed a four‑year college degree.
• Proven ability to work in Agile/Scrum teams on large, complex systems.
