Business Development Specialist – Commercial Strategy

About the role

Remitee, a fast‑growing international payments fintech, is seeking a data‑driven Business Development Specialist to strengthen its commercial strategy. You will identify new market opportunities, analyse trends, and expand relationships with global clients while working closely with cross‑functional teams.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct in‑depth market research and competitive analysis across key regions in the remittance and payments industry.
• Design and execute lead‑generation campaigns and create customized presentations of Remitee’s value proposition.
• Support active management of existing client accounts, spotting upsell and service‑improvement opportunities.
• Collaborate with Operations, Tech, Compliance, and Treasury to ensure smooth client onboarding and service delivery.
• Leverage internal data sources, using Power BI and SQL, to extract insights, generate reports, and guide decision‑making.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Economics, Business Administration or a related field.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in fintech, payments, banking or digital‑wallet environments.
• Experience building commercial partnerships in LATAM or the US is a plus.
• Advanced English proficiency and a strong analytical, data‑driven mindset.
