Characterization Lab Technician (Level 3)

About the role

Onsemi is looking for a detail‑oriented Characterization Lab Technician to perform comprehensive tests on discrete and module devices. You will verify electrical performance, generate accurate data, and produce reports for internal and external customers while maintaining a clean, organized lab environment.

Key responsibilities

• Perform characterization tests on discrete and module devices.
• Conduct electrical verification and analysis for various lab tests.
• Prepare and deliver comprehensive data reports to customers.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient test execution.
• Maintain laboratory standards, including 5S housekeeping practices.
• Provide training and share knowledge with colleagues.
• Ensure compliance with EHS and ESD requirements in the lab.

Required profile

• Diploma in Electrical & Electronics or equivalent.
• Solid understanding of digital and analog electronics.
• Familiarity with testing discrete components and associated issues.
• Customer‑focused attitude with good communication skills.
• Willingness to take on additional responsibilities and learn new techniques.

Required skills

• Digital electronics

• Use of multimeters, oscilloscopes, curve tracers, pulse generators, and power supplies
• Proficiency with MS Excel and other MS Office tools
• Experience with graphical user interfaces for tester control
