Clinical Lead – Global Study Leadership

About the role

IQVIA is seeking a Clinical Lead to drive the delivery of regional and global clinical studies across a broad therapeutic portfolio. In this role you will partner with project leaders, sponsors and cross‑functional teams to ensure studies meet quality, recruitment and operational targets while complying with regulatory standards.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the clinical delivery of assigned studies, overseeing recruitment, site performance and quality objectives.
• Develop and execute patient recruitment and site engagement strategies to achieve enrolment targets.
• Collaborate with project leaders and functional teams to drive milestones, resolve issues and maintain operational excellence.
• Provide leadership to clinical teams, supporting resource planning, training and project execution.
• Manage clinical risks, uphold quality standards and implement proactive mitigation throughout the study lifecycle.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders, ensuring clear communication and alignment.
• Support financial oversight, including forecasting, budget management and identification of scope changes.
• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives and mentor less‑experienced team members.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Life Sciences, Healthcare or a related scientific discipline.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in clinical research, monitoring or clinical operations within a CRO, pharmaceutical or biotechnology environment.
• Strong understanding of clinical trial conduct, ICH‑GCP guidelines and applicable regulatory requirements.
