Director, Regional Compliance LATAM

About the role

Paysafe is seeking a Director of Regional Compliance for Latin America to lead its compliance programme across the region. Based in Lima, the role will operate in a hybrid model, combining on‑site presence with remote collaboration.

Key responsibilities

• Provide strategic leadership for all compliance functions across Latin America, ensuring alignment with global standards.
• Serve as the primary contact for regional regulators, leading examinations and managing ongoing relationships.
• Design, implement and monitor risk‑based compliance policies, assessments and monitoring programmes.
• Collaborate with product, legal and business teams to embed compliance into new product launches, market entry and operational processes.
• Develop governance structures and ensure consistent execution of compliance initiatives throughout the region.

Required profile

• Proven experience leading compliance or regulatory functions in Latin America, preferably at a senior level.
• Deep knowledge of regional regulatory requirements affecting payments, e‑gaming and digital commerce.
• Strong stakeholder management skills with the ability to influence cross‑functional teams.
• Excellent communication skills in English; Spanish or Portuguese is a plus.
