General Director

About the role

The General Director will lead Intiwawa en acción’s multi‑country operations, coordinating teams in Peru, Germany, and the United States. This senior role oversees all administrative and operational functions, ensuring the organization delivers on its mission through effective program delivery, fundraising, and partnership development.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate teams across Peru, Germany, and the United States, fostering communication and collaboration.
• Oversee administrative areas including Programs, Finance, Marketing & Communications, Fundraising, Volunteer Management, Monitoring & Evaluation, and daily operations of the community centre Casa Intiwawa.
• Develop and implement annual strategic plans with measurable goals to strengthen long‑term sustainability and impact.
• Drive fundraising and institutional development by building strategic partnerships, cultivating networks, and identifying new national and international funding opportunities.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for donors, partners, collaborators, and beneficiary communities.

Required profile

• Proven experience leading and coordinating teams across multiple countries.
• Experience overseeing comprehensive administrative and operational functions such as programs, finance, marketing, fundraising, volunteer management, and monitoring & evaluation.
• Demonstrated ability to develop and execute strategic plans with clear, measurable outcomes.
• Strong background in fundraising, partnership building, and securing national and international funding.
• Excellent communication skills for interaction with donors, partners, and community stakeholders.
