Head of Sales (Remote, Independent Contractor)

About the role

We are looking for a hands‑on, player‑coach Head of Sales to own and scale our inside‑sales, outbound, and revenue‑operations engine. This is a remote, independent‑contractor position that works directly with the CEO and Sales Manager to turn strategic ideas into fast‑moving revenue.

Key responsibilities

• Drive day‑to‑day revenue operations, including macro sales forecasting, territory optimization and business‑unit economics.
• Lead a lean sales organization, ensuring pipeline excellence, clear division of labor and consistent target achievement.
• Analyze data to surface pipeline insights, bottlenecks and workforce‑planning needs, and adjust operations accordingly.
• Participate in strategic planning, designing sales incentives and high‑velocity go‑to‑market strategies.
• Design, test and iterate multi‑channel outbound sequences, cold‑call and email scripts, and other sales‑enablement assets.

Required profile

• Entrepreneurial leader with a player‑coach mindset.
• Proven experience leading inside sales, outbound, and revenue‑operations teams in a startup environment.
• Strong analytical mindset, comfortable working with data to drive decisions.
• Ability to work closely with C‑level executives and translate strategic goals into actionable plans.
