High School Spanish Teacher

About the role

The High School Spanish Teacher will lead advanced literacy and critical‑analysis instruction in a supportive, student‑focused environment. The role combines creative curriculum design with a commitment to developing exceptional communicators and thinkers.

Key responsibilities

• Design and deliver engaging lessons for Spanish A, Spanish B, foundation grades 9‑10, and IB Spanish courses.
• Develop unit and lesson plans collaboratively with colleagues.
• Assess student progress using standards‑based grading and use data to inform instruction.
• Differentiate instruction to support both high‑achieving learners and those struggling with language development.
• Integrate web and Google applications to enhance learning experiences.

Required profile

• Valid teaching license or equivalent certification in Spanish education.
• Bachelor’s degree in Spanish or a related field.
• Minimum two years of full‑time Spanish teaching experience.
• Experience with IB and OPP curricula is preferred.
• Commitment to ongoing professional development and best‑practice teaching.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Web Applications.
• Proficiency with Google Applications (Docs, Slides, Classroom, etc.).
