HR Assistant (100% Remote)

About the role

We are seeking a proactive Human Resources Assistant to join our fully remote team. Working on an 8‑hour day shift aligned with Pacific Time (GMT‑8), you will support a global workforce of over 100 team members, handling a variety of administrative HR tasks while maintaining confidentiality and professionalism.

Key responsibilities

• Respond to team‑member inquiries with empathy and a solutions‑first approach, escalating complex cases as needed.
• Prepare HR reports, documentation, and internal communications.
• Conduct employment background checks and reference verifications via email.
• Maintain accurate records and data across multiple systems.
• Support general HR administration, including data entry, auditing, verification, and report distribution.
• Coordinate the full employee lifecycle – onboarding, off‑boarding, status changes, and internal transfers.
• Manage access, accounts, and permissions in tools such as Google Workspace and BambooHR.
• Create and update SOPs, checklists, and process documentation.
• Assist with recruitment activities, interview coordination, and eventually conduct interviews.

Required profile

• Background in event coordination, hospitality, customer service, or similar roles.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Google Workspace.
• Experience using BambooHR or similar HRIS platforms.
• Data entry and reporting capabilities.
• Basic auditing and record‑keeping skills.
