Human Resources Business Partner Supervisor – Mining Operations

About the role

The Human Resources Business Partner Supervisor provides operational HR support to mining assets in Cusco, Peru. Reporting to the Human Capital Business Partner Superintendent, the role ensures consistent application of HR policies, strengthens safety and productivity, and enhances the employee experience.

Key responsibilities

• Support site leaders with daily people‑related matters, ensuring correct use of HR policies and processes.
• Identify and communicate operational workforce needs, climate issues, and people‑management challenges.
• Execute workforce planning, consolidate vacancy and movement data, and follow up on succession and development plans.
• Coordinate internal mobility, talent development initiatives, and the annual performance and compensation cycles.
• Assist in implementing culture and leadership programs, manage engagement activities, and track actions from People Surveys.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Labor Relations, Psychology, Business Administration or related field.
• Minimum 6 years of HR experience, preferably in industrial or mining environments.
• Proven experience executing HR processes, supporting leaders, and using HR information systems.

Required skills

• Proficiency with HR systems, preferably SAP SuccessFactors.
• Strong service orientation and communication abilities.
• Ability to manage multiple operational requirements and maintain data quality.
