In-house Engineer

About the role

Join a global leader in mining solutions and work directly on‑site at major mining operations. You will act as the main technical liaison for customers, ensuring equipment reliability and driving service growth.

Key responsibilities

• Serve as the primary point of contact for customers across all FLS business areas.
• Activate and coordinate Field Services Engineering, Professional Services, Sales, and Global Specialists to deliver tailored technical solutions.
• Manage maintenance plans and spare‑parts requirements for FLS equipment.
• Identify equipment replacement and consumable opportunities within existing installations.
• Provide strategic input for customer retention and growth plans.
• Collaborate with Solution Specialists to promote on‑site consumable offerings.
• Seek opportunities to increase Service Business Line order intake through Field Services Engineering.
• Develop, train, and support new Site Account Managers and Representatives.
• Communicate market price competitiveness and supply strategies with Global Service and Regional Sales.
• Work with Professional Services to deliver on‑site support and identify upgrades & retrofits.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Mechatronics, Electronics, Industrial Engineering or a related field.
• Minimum 6 years of experience in the mining industry in a similar engineering role.
• Proven ability to collaborate across multiple teams and manage KPIs.
• Experience preparing technical and commercial proposals for mining projects.
• Strong passion for innovation in the mining sector.
• Experience working closely with both suppliers and customers.
• Intermediate to advanced English proficiency.
