Key Account Manager – Modern Trade

About the role

You will lead the commercial relationship with key modern‑trade accounts, developing and executing strategic business plans to drive sales growth, market share and profitability for Mondeléz International.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement strategic business plans focused on sales growth, market share and profitability.
• Negotiate commercial agreements, promotional plans and trade conditions with customers.
• Ensure flawless in‑store execution by working cross‑functionally with Marketing, Supply Chain, Finance and Category Management.
• Serve as the main point of contact between the company and the customer, building long‑term relationships based on trust and mutual value creation.
• Achieve joint business plan (JCBP) targets and optimise resource use for higher profitability.

• Strategic mindset with ability to translate data into commercial action plans.
• Exceptional negotiation and influencing skills at senior level.
• Results‑driven orientation, able to work under pressure and meet ambitious targets.
• Collaborative leadership and ability to manage multiple internal and external stakeholders.
• Passion for consumer goods and deep understanding of modern retail dynamics.
