Latin America Business Unit Manager

About the role

The Latin America Business Unit Manager will lead Carpi Tech’s operations across the region, driving growth, profitability and operational excellence. Reporting to Group leadership, you will own the full P&L and ensure the Business Unit aligns with corporate strategy, standards and values.

Key responsibilities

• Define and execute the LATAM business strategy in line with Group objectives.
• Drive sales, marketing and business development to strengthen market presence.
• Develop and manage relationships with clients, partners and key stakeholders.
• Oversee project execution, ensuring quality, safety, cost control and delivery timelines.
• Coordinate with engineering, technical and operational teams to deliver tailored waterproofing solutions.
• Lead, coach and grow the local organization, fostering talent development.
• Manage financial performance, including budgeting, P&L and overhead control.
• Ensure compliance with local regulations, Group policies and HSE standards.

Required profile

• Engineering degree.
• 8+ years of proven experience in Business Unit leadership or general management, preferably in infrastructure or engineering.
• Strong commercial mindset combined with solid operational leadership.
• Experience managing multifunctional, multicultural teams.
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
• Fluent in English and Spanish (Portuguese a plus).
• Willingness to travel within the region.
