Lead Quality Analyst

About the role

The Lead Quality Analyst partners with senior stakeholders to shape and execute quality strategies across multiple products and services. Working closely with developers, business analysts, designers and infrastructure engineers, you will embed a testing mindset throughout the delivery lifecycle and champion quality as a shared responsibility.

Key responsibilities

• Define and drive a quality strategy aligned with client objectives, shifting quality left in the development process.
• Collaborate with senior stakeholders to identify risks, create mitigation plans and ensure teams are empowered to implement quality practices.
• Conduct exploratory testing, performance and security testing to uncover hidden risks.
• Guide improvements in clean code, testability, and the adoption of test tools and frameworks.
• Standardise testing approaches (UAT, E2E) and automation practices across teams, including naming conventions, contracts and dashboards.
• Coach team members to adopt a testing mindset and mentor junior QA professionals.
• Represent QA expertise within the broader tech community, speaking at conferences and contributing to Thoughtworks’ knowledge base.

Required profile

• Proven experience as a Quality Analyst within cross‑functional agile teams.
• Strong influence and communication skills to advocate quality with senior leaders.
• Understanding of user experience research methods and ability to translate insights into test strategies.
• Passion for continuous improvement and staying current with industry standards and regulations.
